How we handle your information.
Plainly stated, and no longer than it needs to be.
Who we are
Empire Advisors provides accounting, tax, business advisory and wealth structuring services from Port Macquarie and Newcastle. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect through this website
If you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect the details you choose to give us: your first and last name, email address, phone number (optional) and the content of your message.
We do not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies or third-party pixels on this website. Browsing our pages does not require you to identify yourself.
How we use it
We use the information you send us to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to provide our services and meet our professional and legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.
Who else handles it
Contact form submissions are delivered to us by email through a form-handling service operated on our behalf. If you book a time with us, that booking is handled by our scheduling provider. These providers process the information only to deliver the enquiry or booking to us.
We may also disclose personal information where we are required or authorised to do so by law.
Keeping it secure
This website is served over an encrypted connection, and enquiries are transmitted to us over encrypted channels. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we retain client records for as long as our professional and legal obligations require.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete information we are not required to keep. Email martin@empireadvisors.com.au or call 0447 800 210 and we will respond within a reasonable time.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal information, you can raise it with us first, and then with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
